The new President of the Federation, it is revealed who the Serie A clubs chose

A meeting was held in the Lega Serie A, regarding the future management of Italian football, while the successor to Gabriele Gravina at the head of the FIGC is being sought.

Although the elite clubs have a voting weight of only 12% in the assembly, their stance serves as a political compass for the June 22 elections.

Currently, Giovanni Malago seems to have almost absolute support from the championship. Of the 20 participating clubs, 18 of them have lined up in favor of his candidacy, creating a united front.

The only voices against this direction are Lazio and Verona, which remain in opposition to the figure of Malago.

This unity of the majority of clubs could exert considerable pressure on other delegates before the final vote.
