Unexpected cancellation, AFF with notice before Poland-Albania

The Albanian Football Federation has announced the cancellation of the "Fan Zone" organization in Tirana for the vital Poland-Albania match, valid for the World Cup play-off phase.

According to the announcement, the reason for this decision was the forecasts of unfavorable weather conditions in the capital on Thursday, March 26.

The event was scheduled to be held at the "House of Football", but the Albanian Football Association stressed that the safety and well-being of fans remain the main priority in these circumstances.

"FSHF informs that the organization of the Fan Zone in the premises of the House of Football, planned for Thursday, March 26, 2026, as part of the World Cup Play-Off match between Poland and Albania, is canceled due to the unfavorable weather conditions expected in Tirana.

"This measure has been taken to ensure the well-being and safety of fans and all participants," the Albanian Football Association said in a statement.
