Roma returns to triumph, scores a goal against Lecce

Roma returned to winning ways in Serie A, beating Lecce 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico to end a five-match winless run in all competitions.

Midway through the first half, Roma found the net with Pisili, but the goal was disallowed for Pellegrini's offside position in the build-up to the action.

Lecce failed to create any danger in the first half, but started the second half better. Within two minutes of the restart, Ngom forced goalkeeper Mile Svilar to intervene, deflecting the ball for a corner kick.

To change the pace of the game, coach Gasperini brought on Robinho Vaz from the bench, who had a direct impact on the result.
