An Englishman referees Poland-Albania, Kosovo teaches the referee against Norway

UEFA has appointed Englishman Anthony Taylor as the main referee for the Poland-Albania match.

The 47-year-old has been part of FIFA's roster since 2013 and has refereed at high international levels.

He has refereed finals such as the 2020 European Super Cup, the 2021 Nations League final and the 2023 Europa League final.

Taylor was also the referee in the 1-1 Czech Republic-Albania draw in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. He is known for his frequent use of yellow cards and a more reserved approach to red cards.

In his career, he has refereed 826 matches. The Englishman was also the referee of the 2024 Final Four between Egnatia and Partizan, which was won 1-0 by the team from Rrogozhina.

Meanwhile, for the Slovakia - Kosovo match, which will be played on Thursday at 20:45, Norwegian Espen Eskas has been assigned.
