"We have lived these holidays for years because I am from the later years and we waited for them with great joy. Since Easter Monday came, we would go out every day and go to St. George's, light candles like we were little and we would all sit downstairs and go home with lit candles. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and so on. This was a joy and with all my heart, now that we are experiencing them again, they bring us very beautiful memories. Wednesday is the Day of the Anointing of the Sick, this is special. When we were little we did not know the meaning of many things, but today as adults, it fills us with hope. Clay is what God created, the man of clay who created Eve and Adam. For Easter I joyfully await my children with all the good things, cooking is the main thing and buying candles. We choose the most beautiful ones, the best for the children to adapt to them. We buy paint for the eggs and the joy is "so that besides red, we have other colors," said a citizen.

"Happy Easter to all Albanians, have a great time. We come here to buy some candles, red paint, and these glasses to put the red egg in. On Thursday or Friday, it is tradition to buy clay," the citizens wish.

A married couple tells more about the Easter holiday, as one of the biggest holidays celebrated in the city of Korça.

"We celebrate Easter because it is a great Christian holiday. We make red eggs, we make meat roasted on a spit, we also make good breads like çyrek, which are smeared with egg. They also put an egg in the çyrek. This holiday is family-oriented, it's not like people go out and visit each other. It's good to take something from the Fair and take it home for the good of the house. A clay thing, like a shoe that we used to say in the old days, brings good luck. Korça has always been that both Muslims go to church and Christians go to the mosque, you know that," said the citizen.

"As the woman said, we all celebrate together, because we have been in Greece for 30 years and have always celebrated together with the Greeks. May we be happy and prosperous," said the citizen.

An artisan from Tirana has also become part of the fair, bringing to his stand a series of works, mainly in wood. He says that this is his first time coming to Korça as a participant in the fair and the organization is very good for him.

"I sell woodwork, all of it is made of wood and stone. It takes a lot of time, a piece of work takes a lot of time. Tastes are different, sports logos are more in demand. I come from Tirana, this is my first time at this fair in Korça. The first time it looks very good, the organization is very good, now let's see until the end," said the artisan.
