"What is love?!", the question that remains unanswered
Albert Vataj

Perhaps each of you has an answer to the question "What is love," a question that has remained without a universally accepted answer.

A question that has tormented the brightest minds and most intoxicated souls of times and worlds, and has left them scrambling to find an answer, or to approximate a unanimous agreement, without being able to succeed.

This question has haunted lovers and puritans, driving them into a feverish pursuit of finding the threads with which to weave the fabric of the mantle that adorns the celebration of this eternal goal of humanity, but it has proven to be an impossible mission.

Built on dedication and experience, it has found rest and sanctification in various forms of artistic expression, striving to find an answer, and has labored for centuries, completing the making of a magical world of creation and that's it.

It has been colliding in the waves of sounds, to sway entire seas of glances and torrents of touches, it has stained the brushes of masters, blood from its blood has become paint for the pens and hearts that flew it into the constellations of the cosmos and made it dizzy in the copulations of bodies swimming in lust and lava.
And yet "What is love?!" was a question whose answer remained offered at the feet of this god.

"What is love?!", the question that remains unanswered

But not everyone believed, and many of them saw and understood, experienced and sacrificed themselves to it, were warmed and illuminated by this fire, in a different way.

Of course, you will also have your own answer, for one of the questions that have received answers, yes, answers that have found much disagreement from some, unacceptable from others, while there are few who agree.

Love is a question that resonates with the depth of the human being, a mystery that extends beyond words and rigid definitions, beyond any immediate discourse and rational reasoning. For some, it is the most sublime feeling that connects two souls in harmony; for others, it is a force that destroys the boundaries of selfishness and helps us see the world beyond ourselves, as it is for some a need for presence, perhaps not to give up on oneself, but to find in it the missing part that is offered by someone else.

Love is life, it is inspiration and suffering, simultaneously ecstasy and sacrifice. It is not just a romantic feeling, but an energy that finds expression in human relationships, in art, in nature, and in every effort to understand and feel more deeply.

Philosophers, poets, and scientists have tried to provide different answers to love: Plato saw it as a path to divine beauty, Molière as an arena of humanity and its contradictions, while psychologists consider it as an emotional and chemical bond that nourishes our well-being.

But, perhaps love is simply what we feel when our heart shines with the light of another and when we find a higher meaning in our devotion to them.

However, "What is love?!" remained the question that did not receive a unanimous answer.

And this is precisely the beauty and mystery of love. It cannot be limited to a definition, because every attempt to explain it gives it a new dimension, a new meaning, by refusing to accept limitations and rigidities, which would multiply and endlessly extend the questionnaire.

Because love is an invisible thread that connects everything in this world, an act that requires more than just feeling, but also understanding, sacrificing and accepting.
Love is the force that makes us human. It makes us move forward, overcome fear and discover new dimensions of ourselves and others. It is an infinite art that takes time to learn and for which we are never fully prepared and free willed, thinking that everything is not it, but everything in our lives takes meaning precisely from it.

True love is neither physical nor romantic. True love is the acceptance of everything that surrounds you.

The happiest people are not necessarily those who have the best of everything, but those who make the best of everything they have. Life is not just a matter of how to survive the storm, but how to dance on the deck of a ship that is tossed about by the waves.
Love, with all its powerful wings, has abysses that it cannot cross./CNA
