A lifestyle with physical activity, healthy food and periodic health checks prevent diseases.

Inform, raise awareness, prevent!

This was the goal of the colorectal cancer awareness marathon that the American Hospital in collaboration with the Municipality of Tirana and the Parks and Recreation Agency held today in the month dedicated to the fight against this dangerous disease, an activity where the vice mayor of the Municipality of Tirana Keti Luarasi was also present.

Në fillim të aktivitetit, Kryemjekja e Spitalit Amerikan, Dr.Shk. Lida Shosha foli mbi rëndësinë e ekzaminimit në kohë të sëmundjes si dhe dha disa këshilla e rekomandime për qytetarët, në mbrojtje të shëndetit të tyre.

Nga ana e saj nënkryetarja e Bashkisë Tiranë, Keti Luarasi theksoi se veprimtari të tilla sensibilizuese mbi shëndetin janë me shumë vlerë për të gjithë, si dhe falenderoi Spitalin Amerikan për nisma të tilla.

Marsi është muaji i ndërgjegjësimit ndaj kancerit kolorektal dhe ngjyra blu simbolizon përkujtimin e jetëve të humbura nga kanceri kolorektal dhe shpresën për një të ardhme pa tumor.
