DP MP Belind Këlliçi has spoken about corruption affairs in the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to the Cim Peka Live show, Këlliçi criticized Xhon Belushi Street, saying that Veliaj was ready to inaugurate the street before the tender closed.

Këlliçi said that these facts have been reported to SPAK.

"I have denounced the 'Xhon Belushi' road. There was a tender where the contractor tender holder is 'Nesti Angoni', Arbian Mazniku in this case that I have denounced here to you. The tender was open and was about to close... The road was being closed, it was finally asphalted and in the meantime Veliaj had also chronicled the inauguration of the road.

I denounced '5D', I went to the elections, I signed it, then I took '5D' to SPAK.

"May 14th ended and of course, both as Belind and as a politician, in March of that year I gave up my mandate as an elected MP to enter a battle as you remember, without a seal, without a logo, without commissioners, without counters, without media minutes, etc.," said Këlliçi.

Këlliçi further said that the mayoral elections were stolen.

"I gave my model. I had a rival in front of me, he stole the election. I was convinced that he had stolen the election from me. During the campaign, I had received information but I was unable to announce it all," said Këlliçi./ CNA
