The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted from prison to the Territorial Reform and the importance of the opposition's participation in committees.

In his reaction, Meta states that Prime Minister Edi Rama approved the latest territorial reform with the full awareness of the then leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha.

Ironically, Meta refers to Basha as a mathematician, while saying that he was not presented with a DP platform for Territorial Reform.

Among other things, he adds that as a "reward" for this, Basha received support from the SP structures in Lezha, Pogradec, which at that time, according to him, was considered the "market of Roskovec".

Edi Rama's theses cannot unite the opposition

For almost 10 years, Edi Rama led with "complete success" the opposition, in addition to the Government, Parliament and every other institution, except the Presidency, until July 24, 2022.

This is a "merit" and cannot be denied.

But this, more than his "merit" for corrupting the opposition leadership, was the weakness and disloyalty of those who accepted to be sold out for personal interests, but also for their troubles with justice.

Today, there is a rightful debate about the Territorial Reform and the importance of the opposition's participation in it, even though Edi Rama has 83 + 3 votes to approve it in the end, according to his appetite for the unlimited concentration of power in his hands.

Unfortunately, Edi Rama approved the variant he wanted even when he only had 65 votes out of the 84 he needed 11 years ago.

This happened with the full awareness of the DP leadership at that time, which not only boycotted the Reform Commission, but above all never provided an alternative of its own that was requested at that time by up to 100 or 110 local units.

All those who were at the National Conference of the Democratic Party at that time, dedicated only to local government, I believe remember the participation there of the late Mr. Bashkim Fino, but also of Mr. Petrit Vasili, who on behalf of the majority (SP-LSI) asked the DP to present a variant of its own to be approved by consensus.

The participation of Mr. Fino and Mr. Vasili was only possible thanks to my insistence that this Reform be carried out only with the consensus of the DP and the opposition.

But a platform was never presented by the DP (although to my knowledge one was prepared by its experts).

This happened because the prominent "mathematician" who led the DP had received a non-public offer from Edi Rama that it would be better for him to boycott until the end and present the boycott as an alibi, but also that in some municipalities where LSI representatives would run on behalf of the SP-LSI coalition, the SP would work for the "mathematician's" candidates under the rug.

And so it happened.

“Matematikani” kurrë nuk paraqiti një projekt alternativë pranë Komisionit Parlamentar dhe si shpërblim mori mbështetjen e “nëndheshme” nga strukturat e PS në Lezhë, Pogradec, etj., që në atë kohë u cilësuar si “pazari i Roskovecit”.

Edhe pse nuk jam optimist se pjesëmarrja e opozitës në këtë Komision do të jetë ndikuese në vendimin përfundimtar të shumicës (83 + 3), përsëri në respekt të qytetarëve që vujanë shkatërrimin e shërbimeve publike sot nga pushteti vendor besoj se opozita e ka për detyrë të paraqesë alternativën e saj përpara qytetarëve shqiptarë, por edhe Komisionit Parlamentar.

“Matematikani” i madh pasi mori në 2015 Lezhën dhe Pogradecin, në 2019 bëri një lëvizje prej “shahisti” të paparë dhe ia dorëzoi të gjitha bashkitë “Rilindjes” me qëllimin “strategjik”, që duke ia lënë gjithë pushtetet të pangopurit, ai të rrëzohej përtokë nga mbipushteti absolut, siç ndodh me lopën kur ha shumë jonxhë.

Për të realizuar këtë qëllim madhor nuk pranoi të regjistronte as formalisht PD-në në KQZ për të marrë pjesë në datën e zgjedhjeve lokale, të shtyra me kërkesë të tij (por edhe Bundestagut), pikërisht në datën që ai kishte zgjedhur vetë.

Dhe që të mos zgjatem më tej, kulmi i “matematikës” ishte Kuvendi “historik” i 2 mijë karrigeve me 5 mijë delegatë.

Këto “kryevepra” që as “Diella” nuk i imagjinon dot më kujtohen kur dëgjoj plot teza që krijuesi i “Diellës” i shpërndan përmes “matematikanëve” më pak të shquar sot opozitarë.

Sidomos sot, me përballjen me një diktaturë, de facto opozitarizmi duhet të mbështetet së pari te guximi për t’u përballur pa komplekse me regjimin dhe së dyti te gjithëpërfshirja demokratike dhe transparente, e cila si emërues të përbashkët duhet të ketë unifikimin e çdo aktori opozitar për realizimin e një sistemi zgjedhor, që rikthen parlamentarizmin e cënuar që në 2008 dhe i jep fuqi qytetarëve të zgjedhin deputetët e tyre (dhe jo kryetarëve).

Ky do të ishte pikëtakimi i parë i të gjithë atyre që kërkojnë ndryshimin e sistemit.

Të vetmit që ky ndryshim nuk i intereson është Edi Rama (sepse edhe socialistët janë lodhur me emërime deputetësh).

Mbi këtë bazë madhore mund të ndërtohen format më konstruktive të bashkëpunimit dhe organizimit opozitar, duke ruajtur identitetin e secilit, por në funksion të ndryshimit të këtij sistemi, i cili në thelb është antikushtetues, sepse cënon barazinë dhe vlefshmërinë e votës midis subjekteve, por edhe qarqeve të ndryshme.

Garantimi i një marrëveshjeje gjithëpërfshirëse zgjedhore që mundëson mosdjegien e votave opozitare, u jep mundësi të gjithë faktorëve të marrin atë që meritojnë.

Ndërsa vendosja e “kushteve morale” në mënyrë joparimore e subjekteve është vetëm në shërbim ndaj Ramës, që regjimi të vazhdojë të vjedhë në mënyrë skizofrenike, se opozita është “e përç???”.

Shpikja e partive si G99, që bëjnë sikur kritikojnë regjimin për të bërë opozitën e opozitës, nuk besoj se do të funsionojë më në të ardhmen.

This thesis is absurd, as imposing a leader on a larger party than it should have is extremely authoritarian and insulting, especially when speaking in the name of free voting and democracy.

This thesis is immoral, because comparing Berisha, who has faced and is facing justice that Edi Rama seized in an unconstitutional manner, while the latter also has ground from his own justice, which he is now publicly lynching, because the (wells) of his corruption have burst and stinked in the world, is the most blatant hypocrisy.

To compare Berisha, who is being persecuted by his family for a government decision initiated by socialist ministers and where the only one harming the public interest is the former mayor of Tirana, Edi Rama, and to (forget) that this corruption-crazed man has a black and white signature where he gives an 8% bonus to the incinerator company long before the company existed (was born or registered) means to declare yourself a "rebirther".

This thesis is destructive and misleading at the same time, because it plans the "change" after several decades, but hoping for the votes of the future inhabitants of Albania such as Bangladeshis, Filipinos and other respected nationalities, with whom "Rilindja" aims to replace the Albanians (who remain).
