Presentation of the progress report/Kos: By the end of the year, Albania will open all group chapters

The European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Marta Kos, delivered her speech at the presentation of the 2025 progress report.

Kos focused on Albania's progress in EU integration, where he said that our country is making progress in the fundamentals chapter.

Further, Kos stated that by the end of this year, all of Albania's group chapters will be closed.

" Albania has made admirable progress since the first governmental conference, other group chapters have been opened during this year and the last group chapter opens in November. Albania is making progress in the group chapter on fundamentals and I believe they will close it by the end of this year ," Kos said./CNA
