Lawyer Adriana Kalaja shared her position today regarding the protest initiative initiated by the Democratic Party.

Invited to A2 CNN, Kalaja said that at this moment in the country, the DP should focus on the strategy that will oust Prime Minister Edi Rama from office.

"There is no need for a second, third or fifth podium. We as oppositionists must think about the strategy to overthrow Edi Rama. A meeting was held where the only topic of discussion was protest and the permanent parade will continue at the protest, 5-6 people will come out there and say the permanent things.

Will the people who have followed this wrong strategy be held accountable? I have no reason to return to office when the Democratic Party has no other approach. Today we should have discussed what happened with the Ombudsman, not because I was a candidate, but because people need a correct reaction. We need to raise all the problems and dot the i's. We are repeating the mistakes.

So, I will continue the fight in the face of injustice, but the DP also needs to come to its senses and ask itself if it needs changes in its structure. It definitely does,” Kalaja declared. /CNA
