The DP National Council has begun its work. DP leader Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media, stated that the delay in the meeting of this council has only one reason, which is to protect the vote of Albanian citizens.

"I must guarantee every democrat that this delay had only one reason and that was the protection of the vote of Albanian citizens. We are people of our word, we keep our word.
