The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, has announced increased measures to address delays and traffic congestion.

Through a post on social media, Lamallari has shared a video of road violations by several drivers, while stating that the installation of smart cameras on national axes and the country's main roads will also minimize the whims of irresponsible drivers.

"For someone's whim, there's no reason for others to suffer being delayed and stuck in traffic!"

Guys, if you think you are privileged and can do whatever you want in traffic, delaying and blocking others who respect traffic rules and civic norms, say hello to the drone above you and wait until you meet the nearest patrol with your fine!

"The State Police's drones will soon be joined by SmartCity's intelligent cameras on national axes and main roads of the country, so start and get used to the idea that the rules are there to be respected by everyone, without distinction," Lamallari writes. /CNA
