Protests/ Peleshi-opposition: Some are there because they listen to what you say

The Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, during the plenary session, responded to the DP MP, Saimir Korreshi, regarding the demands of the protesters in the square.

During his speech, Speaker Peleshi stated that some citizens take to the streets because they hear opposition MPs insulting, using inappropriate language, and violating ethics just because they have a mandate as MPs.  

He further emphasized that with the vocabulary they use, they set the worst example for young Albanians.

"First, there are some things that can be explained with melons, watermelons, corn, wheat, but there are some other things that are beyond. They cannot be explained. First. Second, if you want my opinion, I don't want to take up your time, but if you want my opinion, some of those citizens in the square are also listening to you when you think that the mandate has been given to you as a license to say whatever you want, to insult whoever you want, to violate ethics and to set the worst example for the children of the Republic of Albania with your vocabulary. Okay, that's what I think about you ," Peleshi said. /CNA
