Protesters threw eggs at MPs/ Erion Braçe reacts

Socialist MP, Erion Braçe, has shared a reaction regarding the egg-throwing of MPs by protesters this Monday.

Through a video post on social media, Braçe describes it as a spiral of violence that Albania has entered, which, as he emphasizes, is not part of anyone's rights and freedoms.

“WHAT, WHERE ARE WE?

TO ATTACK ANOTHER PHYSICALLY-VIOLENTLY,

IT DOES NOT INFRINGE YOUR FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS,

TO THE MAN! NOOOO!

We have been in a spiral of violence for days now, where a handful of people think that physically and violently attacking another is an infringement of their rights; THEY SHOULD NOT BE STOPPED FROM DOING IT BECAUSE THEIR FREEDOM IS RESTRICTED!

Today I listened to the chairwoman of the Assembly's Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms justify for the umpteenth time - for the first time I read her doing it in a group - the physical attack as part of the freedoms and rights of the one who undertakes it and the legal reaction to it as injustice.

NOOOO IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!

Anyone, whether ordinary or under constitutional mandate, does good or bad, makes a mistake, breaks the law, or commits a crime;

To react to it, this democratic system we have has legitimized VOTING - politically and JUSTICE - legally.

This is the world we live in in Europe.

The physical and violent attack - the stoning of one person against another or others - is an instrument of another world where violent extremism is a political system, political power and authority.

In this country there have been great fluctuations from time to time about which world we should choose; not long ago, the other one, the others were violently attacked right on the boulevard and KILLED; even that was justified as the state's right to take life!

We have avoided that choice and we have done well!
