Changes to the DP statute/ Krasniqi: Closing loopholes for the moment,

Political scientist Afrim Krasniqi commented today on the latest meeting of the Democratic Party Presidency, which is expected to come up with concrete proposals for changes to the statute.

Invited to A2 CNN, Krasniqi critically expressed that this is not a case to characterize as development, but an opportunity for the DP to use to clarify where it is and where it will go as a political force.

According to Krasniqi, the statutory changes have no impact, other than closing current issues.

"I don't see it as news or as a development. What I expect from the DP is to use the National Assembly to ask themselves where we are and where we want to go? And if they understand where they want to go, what should they do to get there. And this will be a strong message for those who have stayed there. The last elections showed that there is a need to reformat. Statutory changes are nothing, they have no impact, they are closing loopholes for the moment and do not constitute any news", - said Krasniqi. /CNA
