"It happened in my family"/ Rama: Special budget for oncological

Prime Minister Edi Rama declared today that a special budget has been foreseen for oncological and tumoral diseases.

In a hearing with residents of Unit No. 5 in Tirana, Rama said that the National Institute for Tumors will open very soon.

While speaking about cases of these diseases, Rama confessed that he knows the difficulty of coping due to a case in the family.

"Oncology drugs are expensive, just like what happens in a family. I know something about this from my own life and you can't think of anything else but the obligation to do your best for your loved one until the end and do everything so that they don't lack anything in the fight against death that comes and enters the house. We, as a government and as a society and as a governing majority with 83 mandates, are calling for every cancer patient to be considered as our own and supported. We have set a special budget to cover the drugs for people with this disease. In the meantime, we have decided to establish the National Institute for Tumors, for the study and treatment of cancer," said Rama./ CNA
