6 committees and the Conference of Mayors meet/ The draft law on waste is

Today, 6 parliamentary committees and the Conference of Speakers will meet.

The Conference of Speakers will meet at 09:00 to consider the request of a group of deputies of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group for a motion with debate and the establishment of a special committee of the Albanian Parliament regarding OLAF's findings on funds from the IPARD program.

The Conference of Speakers will also consider the request of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group for the establishment of the Electoral Reform Commission and the Territorial Reform Commission.

At 10:00 AM, the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination will present the annual report for 2024 at the joint meeting of the Human Rights and Civic Initiatives committees.

Also at 10:00, the Committee on Economy, Employment and Finance will review the draft law "On Integrated Waste Management".

At 11:30, the Committees for Culture, Tourism and Diaspora and for Civic Initiatives will hold a hearing on the annual report of the Institute of Cultural Heritage.

At 12:30, a hearing session with interest groups will be held in the Committee on Natural Resources, Infrastructure and Sustainable Development regarding the draft law "On Integrated Waste Management"./ CNA
