"Ethical commission within the party", Balla shares details from the SP Group meeting

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, shared details from the socialist meeting that took place at the Presidency of the Assembly.

Balla told the media that the meeting proposed the establishment of an ethics commission within the Socialist Party. He said that this commission aims to crack down on any form of nepotistic appointment in public administration.

"The group meeting had several issues on the agenda. There was a presentation by Minister Pirdeni on a project, for the establishment and functioning of an ethics commission in the Socialist Party and not the parliamentary group of the SP. It aims to strike at any form of nepotistic appointment in the public administration. Today, a first project of the goals and functioning of an ethics commission was presented and it is related to what President Rama has said about the steps we will take during this fourth mandate. This is a historic mandate. Therefore, the creation of one requires the creation of an ethical line", said Balla. /CNA
