Candidacy for Tirana/ Hasimja: The problem is with the electorate that does not accept

Ermal Hasimja spoke about his candidacy for the Municipality of Tirana.

In a television interview, Hasimja said that his involvement was quick and hasty.

He said that the problem is not that there are no candidates, but that the electorate does not accept them.

"I wasn't upset because it wasn't something I had planned and strongly intended. I had been involved in two key moments before in 2005 and with the famous KOP."

In a way, I had the desire to get involved. Maybe it wasn't the right moment. It's not that there's no one here, but the problem is that the electorate doesn't accept it.

After the last election, there was hope with the emergence of new parties. My involvement was quick and perhaps hasty. I thought this would have the effect of attraction.

"I am not addicted to politics. If I were to get involved in politics, it would be based on what I believe in and not what people like," Hasimja said./ CNA
