The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, at a conference held by the Blue Headquarters, listed the problems of tourism in Albania. The leader of the Democrat Party said that in the South, last summer, only 10-15% of foreign tourists left, while in the North this figure goes up to 80%.
Berisha said that the South is beautiful but has been exploited in a barbaric manner and has high prices when there is not even water.
" The South has not had even 10-15% foreign tourists, the North has had 80% because there are vacationers who come with bags on their shoulders. Thethi, Valbona have had foreigners, the South has not."
The south has amazing beauty but the way they have treated it is barbaric. They pay 200 euros for a bed when they have no water to wash, the south has no transportation and is isolated like a village of its own. The Llogara tunnel costs only 12 minutes to cut. With 200 million euros they would provide answers to the problems with white and black water , "said Berisha./ CNA
