"He has turned the municipality into a family employment nursery"/

Democratic Party MP Enno Bozdo, through a post on social networks, writes that the mayor of Poliçan, Adriatik Zotkaj, is a typical figure of the Renaissance.

Bozdo says that Zotkaj's family wealth is illogical and unjustified and his file will soon be submitted to SPAK.

The Democrat states that 75% of the funds of the Municipality of Poliçan are wasted, referring to investigations by the show "Plug".

Adriatik Zotkaj is a typical representative figure of Rilindja in local government. With a municipality super inflated by patronageists, with favors reserved only for members and militants of the Socialist Party, with mega-corruption with Municipality tenders, with family wealth beyond all logic and unjustified, he is a person whose full file is being prepared and will soon be submitted to SPAK.

This mayor has reserved the most savage and inhumane repression for those who support the opposition, as if they were not Albanians but enemies. He boasts to Rama about the terror he exercises, and the latter keeps him there because he needs the election result at all costs!

In the Municipality of Polican, only 25% of the municipality's funds go to investments, in an area that is in dire need of roads, sewers and services of all kinds. 75% of the money goes to waste, and this has been made clear to us by the investigative show Plug and its talented journalists.

Adriatik Zotkaj has turned the municipality into a family employment nursery, where mostly patronage workers who do not even show up for work, his family members and in-laws are employed. This data has been collected and is part of the SPAK file!

In the investigation of the show "PLUG", it was documented that 13 family members and direct relatives of Zotkaj are employed in key structures of the municipality. Some of them hold leadership positions, while others serve as "loyal troops" in every office and sector.

At the top of the list that shames every administrative standard is:

• Maliq Zotkaj, son of the mayor – Head of sector. 

• Benarda Kondi, cohabitant – Sector Manager. 

• Lindita Kondi, mother-in-law – Secretary of the Municipal Council. 

• Marsilda Kondi, sister-in-law – Economist. 

• Artur Zotkaj, the mayor's brother – known to the public for his arrest for drug trafficking – is now a firefighter at the Municipality. 

• Eriola Zotkaj, wife – Sector Manager. 

• Algerta Nurellari, sister of Artur's wife – employee. 

• Abedin Nurellari, Algerta's husband – water and sewer employee. 

• Antigone Kondi, sister of Adriatik – Head Nurse. 

• Fatos Kondi, Antigone's husband – works as a firefighter. 

• Sara Satkaj and Ajna Satkaj – niece and niece's sister-in-law, employees in the municipality. 

• Skënder Laze, brother of Lindita Kondi, the mayor's daughter-in-law – closes the list of family employments.  

This is no longer a municipality, it is a family enterprise, a clientelist system where citizens' taxes pay for the luxury of the Zotkaj clan.
