Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, invited to A2 CNN, revealed that yesterday the Democratic Party closed the preliminary meeting in Tirana, regarding the November 9 elections, in all branches of the capital.

Këlliçi said that some of the meetings were led by the Secretary General, Flamur Noka, and the rest by the Democratic MPs of Tirana.

The Democrat said that everyone is on the ground and knows quite clearly the organizational tasks for the November 9 elections.

" Yesterday, the Democratic Party closed the preliminary meeting in Tirana for the organization of elections in all branches of Tirana. So, in some of the meetings, Mr. Noka was present as the Secretary General of the Democratic Party and MP in the Tirana district. In some of the meetings, I was present, in some of them, Mr. Xhaferri was present as the MP of Tirana, Mr. Balliu was present as the MP of Tirana, Mrs. Tabaku as the MP of Tirana and Mr. Alimehmeti as a very strong political figure in Tirana who, unfortunately, although he received 18,000 votes, did not manage to obtain a mandate as an MP, but he leads the group of advisors in the municipal council and we have all been in the field. So, we know our organizational issue very well. We are a party ," declared Këlliçi.

During his interview, Këlliçi also spoke about the campaign of the opposition-backed independent candidate, Florjan Binaj.

A candidate for whom Këlliçi said that he has his own strategy and that if elected as head of the Tirana Municipality, he will be the one to make the decisions, without any connection to the DP or Berisha. The Democrat MP said that the opposition supports Binaj because he believes he is the most qualitative candidate for Tirana.

" He has his own campaign and his own strategy, which I do not know, and I follow it from the media. He has his own communication strategy. If he is declared mayor of Tirana, he will make decisions as he wants, as he thinks himself independent. So he will have no connection with the Democratic Party or Mr. Berisha. Suffice it to mention the fact that Mr. Binaj today in his campaign is a completely independent individual. He has his own team, he has his own headquarters, he has his own media strategy, he has his own political strategy and he is completely unaffected by the political interest of either the Democratic Party, the Opportunity party or another party. But of course Mr. Binaj is the best representative of all opposition forces in the face of a candidacy like Ogerta Mansirliu who comes from the government. We ask for votes for Mr. Binaj because we think that in an incomparable way he is a much higher, more qualitative candidacy and that he would provide solutions to the problems of the city of Tirana and without "At the end of the day, the entire logistical aspect, so when it comes to election day, to the commissioners, to the observers, to guaranteeing the functioning of the electoral process, will without a doubt be guaranteed by the Democratic Party because we are the force that has the ability to guarantee that process.
