"Crime is endangering the citizens of Saranda"/ Zhupa: Ministry of

Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa has stated that criminal incidents have become constant in Saranda.

Zhupa says in her reaction that since the tourist season until now, criminal incidents that are endangering the lives of citizens in Saranda have continued.

The MP calls on the Ministry of Interior to increase monitoring through the State Police to prevent criminal incidents in this city.

"Continuous criminal incidents have become a refrain in the city of Saranda, where since the tourist season and now in the first months of autumn, kidnappings, injuries, murders, and explosions continue, which endanger the lives of the residents of the city of Saranda.

As a member of parliament for Saranda, I have often shared the public concern about this situation, asking the Ministry of Interior through the state police structures to react. To control and monitor the terrain in the city of Saranda.

"The State Police must react to prevent events, to be the precursor to what will happen in Saranda, and not to count the victims after the event has occurred," said Zhupa. /CNA
