I remember, when I used to go before dawn to get milk on that part of the road, from the house to the store, I could hear children crying.

Almost on every floor of the palace, they fired at him forcefully and without permission. Always laughing. It was the noise that never annoyed me. Even my waking up at 4 o'clock for those crying babies was.

Today, the country has nearly 250,000 fewer children. You miss one of them, for those tears that flowed like a mountain spring.

I accept the flight of every generation, I accept the flight of half of the people, but 250 thousand children left bring me pain, heartache.

The world also took away the crying of babies.

Better to kidnap us singers, all of us. That those tears we don't see bring us stress and despair. If the children are not returned to us, record as many Albanian children's cries as possible in Rome, Athens, New York, Paris. And give it to our televisions.
