Rumors about the end of her career/ Ariana Grande quenches curiosity with a post

The Oscar-nominated pop star denied in an Instagram post that she had any plans to stop working as a singer.

Grande reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart for the deluxe edition of her album "Eternal Sunshine" a few months ago, while also having a challenging year since the album's initial release in 2024.

"It's so stupid of you to assume that because I have so many things, I intend to give up singing and music...!!! It is and has always been my salvation. I feel grateful, excited and inspired. Finding a balance between the many projects and endeavors I love and doing them my way, I am working on a plan to sing for all of you next year, even if it's just for a little while. I love you," the singer said.

The clarification comes a day after Ariana Grande announced that she will star in the animated adaptation of "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" from "Wicked" director John M. Chu, alongside Josh Gad.

The musical will be released in theaters in March 2028 and will include original songs written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul./CNA
