The 61st edition of the Song Festival did not pass without controversy, where, as always, the distribution of awards causes many reactions and dissatisfaction.

The winner who will represent Albania in Eurovision is the singer Albina Kelmendi, against whom many accusations have been thrown.

The first prize from the jury was taken by the singer Elsa Lila, who was said to have been dissatisfied with the evaluation and had left the prize trophy in the corridors of the Concert Palace where the festival took place.

“Evita”, kënga kushtuar vajzës së saj, drithëroi Pallatin e Kongreseve dhe u duartrokit fort jo vetëm nga publiku në sallë, por edhe audienca e gjerë e cila nuk kurseu dashurinë dhe komentet pozitive për artisten.

Elsa dazzled with her brilliant appearance, powerful performance, voice and elegance on stage. Among the indescribable emotions, with spectators, the protagonist of the song, her Evita, the singer gave us an unforgettable performance. Performance which grabbed the first prize trophy of FEST 61, evaluated by the professional jury of the Festival.

And today this trophy is in its place, in the hands of little Evita, who is beaming with happiness as she accompanies her mother to share the emotions of Elsa's and "Evita's" triumph./ CNA.al
