“Next Generation”/ Festival of Ideas for Youth Opens in Tropoja

Albania and Kosovo are working with young people from both countries to exchange ideas and opportunities for cooperation in the fields of art, cultural heritage, technology and innovation.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of Albania and with the support of the British Council, Tropoja welcomed the “Next Generation” Festival, an opportunity to involve the youth of Albania and Kosovo in the creative industry.

Young participants from Kosovo and Albania call for more attention to the north, to help future generations build bridges of cooperation and bring hope to their homelands.

During the discussion panels on the preservation of cultural heritage, the importance of training young people on both sides of the border was emphasized, in order to utilize Albanian tradition as employment and development potential for Albania and Kosovo.

Albania aims to turn the holding of the "Next Generation" Festival in Bajram Curri, Tropoja, into an annual tradition. /CNA
