Richard Deacon opens exhibition/ Tirana hosts the great artist at British Culture Week

Richard Deacon, the artist who exhibits his works in a hall with Prime Minister Edi Rama in New York, decided to open his first exhibition in Albania.

Invited by the British Council in Albania, as part of British Culture Week, Deacon presented a new collection of works that combine ceramics, photography and stainless steel, exploring the diversity of form and material. These works reflected Deacon’s search for the organic union of technique with creative experimentation, where language and form interact conceptually.

Richard Deacon's first solo exhibition in Albania was received with great interest by the public, who were presented with an in-depth look at the creative process and artistic philosophy of one of the most influential British sculptors, winner of the Turner Prize.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until December 12, every day from 10:00 to 20:00. / CNA
