Recently, the mountain quail has been photographed by trap cameras installed by the Protected Areas Agency.
It was documented in the area of ??Elbasan. ADZM Elbasan informs that the mountain partridge, unlike the field partridge, has a white neck and a black part at the exit of the beak.

Its preferred habitat is high mountains, rocky slopes with bushes, grass and brambles.
It feeds on seeds, insects and green parts of plants.
