The police in Shkodër were able to arrest the citizen NL, 38 years old, and the citizen PL, 48 years old, was declared wanted for cultivation of narcotics.

During the police action in the village of Luarze, cannabis sativa narcotic seeds and seedlings were planted in cubes, with the aim of cultivation on the ground.

The police seized 37,336 cubes of cannabis sativa narcotic seeds and seedlings, 1 vehicle, 1 tractor and items that served this criminal activity.

In implementation of the measures undertaken within the police operational plan for the prevention and attack from the initial stage of attempts to cultivate narcotic plants, as well as with the support of the information provided by the police intelligence, that in the village of Luarze, they were planted in cubes, cannabis sativa narcotic seeds and seedlings, with the purpose of cultivation on the ground, the services of the Velipoja Police Station, in cooperation with those of the Shkoder Police Station and those of the Shkoder Local Police Directorate, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Luarza 1" .

As a result of the operation, 37,336 cubic meters of suspected cannabis sativa narcotic seeds and seedlings, 1 vehicle, 1 tractor and items used for this criminal activity were found and seized as material evidence in this territory.

Furthermore, during the operation, as suspected perpetrators of this criminal activity, the citizen NL, 38 years old, was identified, caught and arrested, as well as the citizen PL, 48 years old, was declared wanted.

Work continues for the capture of the 48-year-old, as well as for the identification and prosecution of other citizens who may have been implicated in this case.
