Tried to steal from a vehicle/ 36-year-old man arrested in Kavaja

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Kavaja Police Station, after a citizen reported that they had attempted to steal his vehicle in the village of Luz i Vogël, immediately organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.

Investigations suspect that yesterday evening, citizen GG attempted to steal personal items from a vehicle parked near a gas station, in the village of Luz i Vogël. 

As a result of quick action, the Police services have caught citizen GG red-handed, driving a vehicle owned by citizen SB, who is suspected of being the 36-year-old's accomplice in this theft, without a driving license.    

Following the procedural actions, citizen GG, 36 years old, resident of Kosovo, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and citizen SB, 39 years old, was declared wanted. Efforts are underway to capture him.

The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Theft", attempted theft and "Irregular driving of a vehicle". /CNA
