Wanted by the GJKKO/ 19-year-old arrested

Shkodra police have arrested a 19-year-old man who was wanted for illegal possession of weapons.

A. Gj., 19 years old, was wanted after 2 Kalashnikov firearms were found in his possession on May 30 during a search of a vehicle in the Kir neighborhood of Shkodra.

 

Police notification

Shkodër/Controls based on police intelligence continue to capture wanted citizens. 

The 19-year-old was arrested and handcuffed, suspected of possessing 2 Kalashnikov firearms.   

As a result of continuous checks to locate and apprehend wanted citizens, based on information provided by police intelligence, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat have located, apprehended and detained the citizen:

A. Gj., 19 years old, resident of the village of Kir.

This citizen was declared wanted, after on 30.05.2025, in accordance with the decision of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, the Police services conducted a search of a vehicle in a neighborhood of the village of Kir, where they found and seized 2 Kalashnikov firearms suspected of being possessed by citizen A. Gj. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
