Greek citizen found without signs of life in Saranda, police suspect

A Greek citizen was taken to Saranda Hospital without any signs of life on Friday evening. The victim has been identified as citizen P. S, 48 years old, originally from Athens.

According to preliminary verifications and footage from security cameras near the hospital, the people accompanying him quickly left in a white vehicle with Greek license plates.

An initial examination of the body revealed no signs of violence, and it is suspected that the cause of death may have been cardiac arrest.

However, to determine the exact cause of death, the body is expected to be sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tirana for specialized expertise.

The circumstances under which the 48-year-old was in Saranda still remain unclear, while the police continue their investigations to identify the people who transported him and left him in the hospital./ CNA
