Anti-drug operation/ 5 people arrested

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 5, following successive operations to crack down on criminal activities, have finalized another operation to crack down on a case of attempted drug trafficking. 

As a result of the operation codenamed "Valiasi", the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

-AP, 25 years old, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics";

-EG, 22 years old, Sh. N.(G.), 20 years old (brothers), EP, 26 years old and EB, 23 years old, for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime".

During the operation, based on information provided by operational sources, the Police services stopped in Valias, the 2 suspected vehicles, the "Audi" type vehicle with the driver citizen AP and the passenger citizen EP and the "Jaguar" type vehicle that was following it from behind, with the driver citizen EB and the passengers citizens Sh. N. (G.) and E. G., who attempted to leave at the moment of the Police intervention.

During the search of the vehicle driven by citizen AP, the Police services found 2 packages of suspected narcotics Cannabis Sativa, with a total weight of 5 kilograms and 300 grams, which were suspected of being transported for the purpose of sale./ CNA
