They took a 32-year-old man hostage and physically abused him/Two people

Two people have been arrested in Tirana and another is wanted after they took a 32-year-old man hostage and physically raped him.

According to police information, citizens HN, 33 years old, and KN, 25 years old, were arrested, while JN, 28 years old, was declared wanted.

In collaboration with each other, they had forcibly taken and held the 32-year-old for several hours in a private environment, where they had threatened and exercised physical violence against him, with the aim of obtaining a monetary value.

As part of the operation, the police seized 5 vehicles, 5 cell phones, a sum of money and illegal items.

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Shadows" is finalized.

They forcibly took a 32-year-old man, held him in an environment in Xhafzotaj, threatening him and exercising physical violence against him, in order to gain a monetary value, the 3 suspected perpetrators have been identified.

Two of them are arrested, another is wanted.

5 vehicles, 5 cell phones, a sum of money and illegal items were seized.

The Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, under the direction of the Prosecution, in cooperation with the Operational Force Sector and the "Eagle" Special Force of the Tirana Police Department, following a report made by a 32-year-old man, who stated that on 31.03.2026, three citizens, in collaboration with each other, had taken him by force and held him for several hours in a private environment, where they had threatened and exercised physical violence against him, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Shadows".

As part of the operation:

-citizens HN, 33 years old and KN, 25 years old, were detained;

- citizen JN, 28 years old, resident of Xhafzotaj, was declared wanted.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens forcibly took the 32-year-old man into the vehicle, threatened him and exercised violence against him, with the aim of obtaining a monetary value.

Work continues to capture the wanted citizen, as well as to fully document the case legally.

The procedural materials will be passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. / CNA
