Smuggling of clothing with fake logos/ 4 people arrested, 4 others on the run

The police operation codenamed "Fake Star 5" continues. The 2 wanted citizens are located and arrested.

One of them, a Turkish citizen, coordinated the process of printing fake logos on smuggled clothing.

The other detainee, a co-administrator of one of the warehouses where the process was carried out. Yesterday, during the operation, 4 citizens were handcuffed and 4 others were processed at large.

As a result of the checks carried out with the support of police intelligence, following the "Fake Star 5" operation, the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Sector, in cooperation with Police Stations No. 3 and No. 4, located, arrested and handcuffed Turkish citizen OS, 46 years old, as well as citizen LH, 21 years old.

They were wanted as part of the "Fake Star 5" operation, because they are suspected of being involved in the criminal activities of storing smuggled clothing in 2 premises in the village of Brrar, on which fake logos of well-known international brands were printed.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
