They threatened and blackmailed for amounts up to 1 thousand euros/ 3 citizens in handcuffs

Services of Police Station No. 4, following the work to attack illegalities in any form of their manifestation, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Xhamlliku".

As a result, the citizen LK, 20 years old, resident in Tirana, as well as 2 citizens aged 16 and 17 years, was arrested for the criminal offense "Extortion by means of threats or violence to give property" committed in cooperation, provided by the article 109/bi of the Criminal Code.

These citizens, in cooperation with each other, are suspected of blackmailing different people by means of threats, for providing property, for amounts ranging up to €1000.

During the conducted investigations, 2 cases of this criminal activity were documented, with suspected perpetrators 3 detainees./ CNA
