The court leaves in prison the 71-year-old man who tried to abuse the 9-year-old girl in the village of Sheqeras in Maliqi.

The court session started at 11 o'clock this morning, where Pëllumb Lamçe appeared in front of the black squads to familiarize himself with the security measure. The prosecutor's office asked for a prison sentence for the criminal offense of "sexual intercourse with a minor", which remains pending.

The defense of the defendant, represented by the established lawyer, asked for a milder security measure for the 71-year-old. Up to this stage of the investigation, in addition to the testimony of the minor, her family members and the 27-year-old who saved her, the prosecution has administered as material evidence some film footage taken by the 27-year-old at the moment when both the elderly and the minor were naked.

During the questions from the prosecutor's office and the court, the old man denied the accusations, saying that he did not molest the minor or any other girl, while he showed mental disorders when talking about the properties he had in the village and that were taken from him.

The court accepted the prosecution's request, leaving Lamçe in prison until the end of the investigation. The event was recorded 3 days ago in the village of Sheqeras in Maliqi./ CNA
