The police have arrested in Lezhë the 28-year-old with the initials A. Ll., who is accused of participating in a criminal organization in Italy, for trafficking in narcotics.

In 2023, the Court of Bologna assigned the young man the security measure "arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics", committed in the framework of the criminal organization.

Police Notice: 

The Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department of the DPPSh finalizes the coded police operation "Operationalja 15".

A 28-year-old man accused of participating in a criminal organization in Italy, for drug trafficking, was arrested in Lezhë.

As a result of the information provided by the police intelligence and exchanged with the partners in Italy, regarding the location of an Albanian citizen, declared internationally wanted, on behalf of Italy, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, during the coded police operation "Operational 15 ", caught in Lezhë and put in handcuffs the citizen A. Ll., 28 years old, born in Pukë.

In 2023, the Court of Bologna assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics", committed in the framework of the criminal organization.

During the month of November 2022, this citizen was part of a criminal organization that was involved in the trafficking of strong drugs such as cocaine and heroin, from Belgium to Italy.

Cooperation continues between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, to extradite this citizen to Italy. /CNA
