3 internationally wanted citizens are extradited to Turkey and Italy

As a result of the coordination of work and cooperation between Interpol Tirana and the homologous structures in Turkey and Italy, the procedures for the extradition of 3 citizens declared internationally wanted were finalized.

Specifically:

- was extradited to Turkey, Turkish citizen Koray Anic, 36 years old, after the Istanbul Court, in 2024, sentenced him to 4 years, 6 months and 5 days of imprisonment, for kidnapping, possession of firearms and explosive weapons and for threats;

- the Albanian citizen ML, 27 years old, born in Dibër, was extradited to Italy, after the Court of Turin, in 2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for armed robbery, with consequences. In 2021, the 27-year-old allegedly shot and wounded the owner of an apartment in Italy, where he had entered to steal, together with other citizens;

-Albanian citizen AA, 49 years old, born in Skrapar, was extradited to Italy, after the Court of Como, in 2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for exploitation for prostitution and for threats./ CNA
