Sentenced to life imprisonment / Arrested in Athens Jani Alia

A 47-year-old man sentenced to life imprisonment was arrested in Athens.

Interpol Tirana, in coordination with Interpol Athens, is following the procedures for his extradition to Albania.

Police Notification:

Joint international operation for the capture of wanted persons announced as international wanted.

The coded operation "IN TIME" in cooperation with the Greek Police is finalized.

In Athens, the much-wanted Jani Alia, 47 years old, was arrested and imprisoned, sentenced to life imprisonment.

The Criminal Police Department, after tracking work and providing information, identified the location of Jani Alia, who was hiding in Athens. Thanks to the close cooperation and exchange of information between the State Police and the Greek authorities, the Greek Police finalized the "IN TIME" operation, arresting this citizen.

Interpol Tirana, in coordination with Interpol Athens, is following the procedures for his extradition to Albania.
