A person was reportedly escorted to the police station today in connection with the assassination attempt that occurred in Rinas a month ago, where Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani were executed.

It is suspected that the escorted citizen is connected to the assassination and his testimony may help shed light on the serious incident.

We recall that the murder took place on November 11 at the roundabout near Rinas Airport at around 2:20 p.m. Dani and Shaljani were shot with a barrage of bullets. Gilmando Dani died at the scene, while Shaljani passed away in the Trauma Hospital, a few days after the incident.

The assailants, who are still unidentified, headed towards Fushë-Krujë after the execution, where their burnt-out car was found along with the weapons allegedly used in the execution. Dani and Shaljani were returning from Barcelona, ??where they were ambushed and shot after leaving the airport. /CNA
