DETAILS from the skeletal remains in Saranda/ The dead body was attacked by wild

The police of Saranda have given details about the decomposed body that was found two days ago in the village of Xarre in Saranda. The blue uniforms indicate that the bone remains belong to 53-year-old Adnant Jaupi from Elbsani, who worked as a shepherd in this area. 

The latter had been missing for 3 months. The police clarified that he died of natural causes and then his dead body was torn apart by wild animals. 

Police Notification: 

Following the preliminary information given yesterday, regarding the finding of human bone remains, in the process of decomposition, near the cemetery of the village of Xarre, we inform you that the specialists for the investigation of crimes of the Saranda Police Station have continued the controls in the area and the investigative actions for this occasion. As a result, it became possible to find the body to which the bone remains belonged and identify the corpse, citizen AJ, 51 years old, resident of Elbasan. From the investigations so far carried out by the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, it is suspected that this citizen (employed as a shepherd in the village of Xarrë) died of natural causes and that his body the dead body is torn apart by wild animals./ CNA
