Alexis Kougias is one of the two lawyers of Fation Torellar, the Albanian who killed his brother-in-law Erion Pelivani, after learning that he sexually abused his daughter from his first marriage and threatened her with photos and videos in exchange for money.

Before the court hearing, Kougias spoke to the Greek media. He said that Torellari is not a criminal.
