DETAILS from the assassination attempt in Tirana/ The young man escapes the Kalashnikov barrage, the investigation track

New details have emerged from the gunshot wound in Selita District in Tirana. In this assassination, the person with the initials ZK, about 35 years old, was injured.

The latter was driving a Smart car when he was shot with a Kalashnikov by a person in another car. 

A few minutes later, a burnt car was found in Bërzhitë and it is suspected that it belongs to the perpetrators. 

It is reported that one of the tracks of the investigation is the continuation of the saga of the 2022 murders of Aleksandër Sadikaj and Edmond Papa.

The brother of the injured, Andrea Kalemi, is suspected of being involved in the murder of Edmond Papa in December 2022, while Sadikaj, who was killed in June of the same year, was the cousin of the Kalemi brothers. /CNA
