AMP reveals the identities of the arrested police officers/ Details from the

The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan-Korça) has issued an official announcement regarding the action at Kapshtica customs.

AMP has also revealed the identities of the 4 arrested police officers as well as details from the operation.

The 4 arrested police officers are:

N / Commissioner YD, with the duty of Shift Manager at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point.

FB Inspector, with the duty of Specialist / Controller at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point.

Inspector LH, on duty as Service Troop at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point.

Inspector DM, with the duty of Service Troop / Control Officer at the exit of the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point, who is also suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Manufacture and possession of explosive weapons and ammunition".

Citizen VB, resident of Vërdovo (Pogradec).

AMP managed to document with evidence the involvement of police officers in international drug trafficking, who, through inaction and in violation of the law, did not exercise control over the vehicle driven by citizen VB, where a suspected quantity of the narcotic substance "Heroin" was hidden.

As material evidence, 6 kg and 134 grams of the suspected narcotic substance "Heroin", 5 mobile phones, 256 cartridges (TT model pistol), 20 model 12 shotgun cartridges and a vehicle were seized.

"The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan - Korça Region) in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça, has arrested four police officers and a citizen suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office".

Following the investigations and information obtained through operational means, it was possible to document with evidence the involvement of police officers in international drug trafficking, who, through inaction and in violation of the law, did not exercise control over the vehicle driven by citizen VB, where a suspected quantity of the narcotic substance "Heroin" was hidden.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korça.
