Theft revealed/ How 6 million lek were taken from an apartment in Korça

As a result of intensive investigative work, carried out with special methods, by the Crime Investigation specialists of the Korça Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Prosecution, it became possible to document with legal evidence the theft of the safe in the apartment of citizen AS, in the village of Goskovë, Korça, where it is suspected that an amount of 600,000 new lek was stolen.

Following the investigation, it emerged that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, forced the son of citizen AS to find the key to the safe located in his apartment and to take the amount of money from the safe.

Following the procedural actions, the security measure was executed for citizen A. Ç., 21 years old, resident of Goskovë (arrested for another criminal offense), and citizen ST, 24 years old, resident of Korça, was arrested for the criminal offenses "Theft, with serious consequences, committed in collaboration" and "Inducing minors to commit a crime".

Also, the security measure "Obligation to report to the Judicial Police" was imposed on the 16-year-old (the grandson of the owner of the apartment), suspected of being an accomplice of the perpetrators./ CNA
