A 24-year-old woman reported to Police Station No. 4 that her ex-boyfriend had been stalking her continuously and had abused her.

A few days after the first report, she went to the police station again and reported that her ex-boyfriend had threatened her to withdraw the report.

After the report, the blues have handcuffed the 33-year-old with the initials EC, a resident of Lushnjë.

"Services of Police Station No. 4, following the work to combat illegalities in all their forms, after the report made by a 24-year-old citizen that her ex-boyfriend had continuously pursued her, had used violence against her and had threatened her to withdrew the report she had filed against him, immediately organized and finalized the coded police operation "Following". As part of this operation, in cooperation with the Lushnje Police Station, the citizen was arrested and detained:       

EC, 33 years old, resident of Lushnja.

This citizen allegedly stalked the 24-year-old, used violence against her and threatened her to withdraw the report she filed against him a few days ago.   

The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announcement states./ CNA
