Vucic after the meeting with Kurti: The talks ended without success

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, said that the talks with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, ended without success "in the sense of finding a clear path towards the normalization of relations".

The two leaders met on Thursday in Brussels - for the first time in more than four months.

"We all have our proposals, the Albanians have theirs, we have ours. In the end, we as Serbia have accepted the compromise proposal of the EU. Kurti did not want to accept it. The meeting has ended", u Vucic told reporters.

Asked by them what the EU's proposal was, he said that, first of all, it talks about the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority - "let's see if we have a credible process or not."

"It is clear that Kurti is simply avoiding the formation of the Association... This is the essence of everything. Serbia does not run away from its obligations", said Vucic.
